Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Did you see new occupancy indicators!

Next year you will have new goal to meet. You will have to meet the number of days in the office as per your occupancy indicator. If not met then your performance will be ‘not met’ and a reason for a dismissal w/o severance.

“ Had you lied to the company and continued to badge in at your original location 3 days a week, you would still have a job. How do I know this? Because they don't check where you badge in. Now this new occupancy indicator further validates this”

Nice fantasy but false. Plenty of Wave 2 that responded Yes were also surplussed. Plenty of Wave 1 that pulled strings at received Virtual also laid off. Wave 3 will be no different. Being honest protects your rights to severance and unemployment that you deserve.

Don’t give these a$$hats one single reason to fire you with cause and jeopardize boatloads of money. If you have been marked, you will be gone soon enough.

“NFTO - "National - Full Time Office" - "Across the nation and not limited to a specific geography”

This is taken out of the context. Whoever posted this is a master manipulator. Read the whole description. Evil T is getting smarter and will make your life miserable. You will report to your assigned location or you will face consequences. They keep polishing these rules to perfection for a reason.

"Because they don't check where you badge in"

Test it out, let us know how it goes.

I'm one of the clowns. Severance in hand and a better paying job with unlimited college tuition reimbursement. Just taking a little break to see how you happy people are doing. Looks... like nothing has changed

The new occupancy indicator "NFTO" simply means those of you goodie two-shoes who picked "no" for relocation and lost your job in wave 2 were deceived by the company.

Had you lied to the company and continued to badge in at your original location 3 days a week, you would still have a job. How do I know this? Because they don't check where you badge in. Now this new occupancy indicator further validates this:

NFTO - "National - Full Time Office" - "Across the nation and not limited to a specific geography."

Congratulations on being a clown. This is what you get for being honest.

I think it's fu--ing depressing because we lost so many good people because of this sh-t.

Badge scans?! Stanky about to FAFO and get that facial recognition software tied to cameras on premise. That way they can tell how long you stay on campus as well as LAN activity.

“Good. Anyone I can collaborate with has never been in the office. They all chip closer offices to their house.”

Yeah…cause there’s no value to being in the office.

They will just coffee badge anyways.

Cool.
So I’m guessing a lot of people will be flagged for sick days and various other reasons cause we all know how much of a cluster these systems are.
Gonna be dope.
