If you think someone like Lee left SunTruist for a promotion at a podunk bank you are as naive as Bill and his gang of 23. She was entrenched in the DC area and well respected in the business community. The stench of Bill and the rest of EL and the lack of direction for the bank in general has driven a number of solid leaders out the door. As someone said earlier Leshner no doubt will bring in a former WF collegue and overpay to get them. No bank of this size has ever had the kind of leadership turnover as this institution in a relatively short period of time. It is time for Bill, Beau and Joe to go. They have self destructed this bank in three years time.

I assure you that Truist has the money to outbid the community bank. Her new role will arguably be less notable on the local scene, at least near term. This has nothing to do with comp or role, it reeks of yet another competent manager finally succumbing to the idiocy of executive leadership.

It is not normal to have the turnover at the RP level SunTruist has. These are coveted positions that pay well, EVP level compensation and the turnover is beyond anything seen before. Makes a huge statement about how the bank is being run.
