Exactly, just like “employee appreciation day”
Yes --- reward the quiet quitters after Labor Day. They have labored in their quitting.
Our LOB laid off a dozen or so the day after Labor Day last year. The holiday won't stop them this year either.
Seeing how badly WF plans layoffs I would not put it past them to celebrate Labor Day by laying off employees.
If you get laid off, just take a job delivering food for Uber or wherever. Then you can be like a teenager where you try to sneak extra deliveries in to make an extra $2.
So what if everything you deliver is late and cold? It's not your fault that you're a giant l o s e r.
I'm not saying it will definitely happen on 9/3, but WF has downsized people the day after a holiday before, and during "employee appreciation week" as well, so it's clearly not off the table.
It's funny to see people wanting to get laid off. Year off, with pay? Yes, please.
No layoffs after a holiday. September 16 is the next one
Please baby Jesus let this one be the week!
Yes, please.
