Take note of the timing ahead of the earnings call on Oct 1. My guess is that the #’s still aren’t looking good and in order to ‘try’ to gain some confidence of shareholders they did it now, as well as to give them this to BS (hype) during the call.
It was long overdue. Even though JD will be $ fine, I’m glad that his ego must be bruised. I know a lot of current and ex Nike team members are celebrating this news. 🥳

Nike stock is up 10% in after hours trading. This is what Wall Street was looking for. A real leader!
Dont expect anything useful anytime soon. Even if EH is any good, there are layers upon layers of bad management to clean up (specially in GT)
