HPE among top 20 best companies to work for

https://www.hpe.com/us/en/newsroom/blog-post/2022/04/hpe-named-among-the-top-20-best-companies-to-work-for-by-fortune.html

I found this article for 2022, but not 2023. I guess HPE didn't make it last year. Aww too bad.

But I think this shows what BS these rankings are. There's no way HPE is top 20 best in anything or any year.

Summer Fridays off on top of vacation days.

Bro! 4 summer Fridays off, which was only introduced to stop the bleeding (highly skilled leaving in droves) during Covid. I hear that next year there will once again be no Fridays off. The vacation days are a joke compared to other companies, especially considering they force you to take a week of vacation time when they shut down the company at Christmas time to make their books/expenses look better on paper. But they are sure to tell you that you start with 3 weeks vacation when you're considering their low offer! ESPP is 5% - a joke compared to most other companies. I'm guessing you weren't hear few years back when they cut everybody's pay by 10-20% and stopped matching 401k: it was not that long ago.

Seriously, I don't think that the stock purchase plan is anything to brag about. The work life balance was great, I hardly did any work for my last 15 years there. Many have side gigs because management is clueless and goof off just as much as I did.

6 months paid paternity leave, unlimited sick days, company money to pay back your college loan, stock purchase plan. Summer Fridays off on top of vacation days. Work life balance most people can work from home if they choose. Just a terrible place to work....get real people.

Seriously if you're number 1 one year and the next year, you're not even in the top 20, what the hėll happened LOL.... Placement is awarded to the highest bidder?

There are a lot of worse companies than HPE. Still, definitely not top 20.

HPE treats their employees like Kernel Sanders treats chickens. Now you know why employees are jumping ship before they are thrown in hot oil. Contractors are treated even worse.

Too many layoffs and HPE does not deserve the best, should be the worst
