Within the bank? Is this like an SVP salary on an after tax basis?

How much do you pay in taxes if you earn this kind of comp?
Now that you know what your net take home amount, go and figure out if that $$$ pile covers your food, shelter, vacations, kids, pets, cars, insurance, energy, communications, entertainment etc. Also, think through how much would you be saving and where will that take you.
So much here will depend on your lifestyle, geography, what do you want to do in life, etc.
I sure hope you're not an SVP if you're asking such a question.
LOL @ after tax.
145k after tax means that the salary is around 300k pre tax. Yes, 300k is a good income at any age. Are you an alien 👽?
In CA you can flip burgers in high school and make 60k a yr. 140k will put you slightly better than a guy w a tent.
If you are in Charlotte, NYC or California, it is a barely making it.
I would be insulted and disgusted at a mere $145K salary!
Where is you self-respect?
Maybe you need training on "For Starters - Belonging", "Being Yourself at Work", Clearly you are seeking Equity - so take that training and BEWARE of "Invisible Influencers" on your obvious (only to everyone else) of your unconscious bias.
140k is poverty wages if you live in a big city. The fact that you have to ask this question means you are likely not making anywhere near this, or at least shouldn’t be.
You have to have a minimum salary of $145,000 to post on this site.
What a troll.OP if you honestly asked this question you are not making 140k after tax or ever will working for WF.
Why do you think it’s ok to ask that question on a layoff site?
Ok for what?
Ask your financial advisor.
The same. Not sure that this is enough for a large city.
