Spending over 150 paid union hours to support a contract for 50 employees for a pest control company that has paid zero dues and now we are taking on peace in the Middle East. How about taking care of the 100s of T workers that don’t have a future.

I gotta ask my mom first….
How about you union goofs just strike already, it’s been 2 months of bark and no bite, which is typical for people that have no leverage and GEDs.
D3, we had an ULP strike, not long after our contract expiration in 2019. It was settled soon thereafter. Expecting more of the same, we are ready for it. We will support D9, they should have a ULP now too.

CWA never had it
D9 is way past contract date, there is a definite “impasse” so it’s time for an “Unfair Labor Practice” Strike. The company isn’t bargaining in good faith so, if the union doesn’t act soon they, could be considered complicit also. We as members need to start contacting our representatives that we want a settlement or strike as we voted.
Both sides have had years before contract expiration and 60 days prior so, the theater needs to stop.
Ask Mr. Tick Tock, he has all the answers for you Union slugs. Weren’t you supposed to strike 2 months ago ? Goofs
Contingency workforce is a show. I’d like to see them successful and permanently do tech jobs then hire the techs back as their bosses.
Most members have a flawed perception of the Union. The National union is there to function as a branch of the State and last as our representative. They are there to suppress worker uprising and keep members sedated. The National runs on a 60s business model with massive overhead. People are paid to sit at home and work 10% of the time. They votes to dip into the strike fund ans now use it as a slush fund. This is why we don't strike.
Pest control company?
To the post about D3 and D9. D9 will muck it up, ya betcha
" Stankey has lost it too by thinking a physically challenged contingency force will replace bargained employees when they have a work stoppage. "
Well, first off---let's address this idea that all of the bargained for folks are zero body fat muscle magazine types. Absolutely, 100% completely ridiculous and untrue. I know many bargained for slobs. Sure, there are plenty of out of shape non bargained for. Just the same as the bargained for workforce.
That said, I always maintain that yes, the idea that a contingency workforce, after some online training, will step in and seamlessly cover that bargained for workload when push comes to shove is a comical farce that everyone here is forced to participate in. Which is why it rarely ever happens, and if it does it last a day or 2 and no one actually dispatches on anything. Everyone, including Stank knows it's all theatre. The amount of wasted time and resources on the whole charade is staggering, and also why smart businesses steer clear of the whole mess when they can.
I haven't heard a lot about occupational layoffs. No layoff is a component of having a "future". If CWA can get rid of layoff worries, that is better than no CWA.
I'm seeing post after post about a lot of nonsense coming from the company towards non-represented employees.
CWA supporting workers could insure workers don't cross a picket line. We don't know the T threats or the primary goal of CWA. I guess continued employment for as many as possible.
Management can be brought in or moved around, but craft has to know how to do their job flawlessly. There is no quick replacement.
Don't fight those on your side.
Peace is good.
Stankey has lost it too by thinking a physically challenged contingency force will replace bargained employees when they have a work stoppage. He and the labor negotiators are playing chicken and are going to lose big time. It’s only a month until the D3 contract expires and D9 has been working without a contract since April.
Our importance to the CWA is one thing only--$$DUES$$
You’ve exaggerated your importance to your union.
