Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

The recepie

At Nike, we let go of high performers, researchers, hard workers and whoever dare to think differently.
We do CFE not based on performance but based on how the person look the part and kisses a-s.
We also do not innovate! In fact we lay off innovators and keep slackers
When hiring, we do not look at resume and technical skills, we hire based on spousal support.
We roll in around 10 am with our Starbucks coffee, take a few hours of lunch break while discussing our new Nike outfit, and then we leave around 3pm!
We now wonder why the sale has declined!
Where in the world one can use this recepie and expect any different results from what we see right now?

The most innovative researchers that have been the creators of performance changing products and paradigms are long gone. Everyone saw their abilities except their leaders. Pushed out or fed up. The leaders know this but they're just self preserving so nothing will change.
