Wasn't that Malibu Stacy's objective as well?

Don’t be worried about who she cuts. Worry about who she hires. Seriously - be afraid

I'll also add that bringing in new people all the time isn't a good idea. Yes, new thoughts and approaches are good. But new people don't know jack sh*t bout the company, why things are the way they are and the inertia of what's in place. Nothing moves fast. Certain changes to systems, processes, people cause more problems than they solve if not done thoughtfully.

That would likely be an already existing number. I don't see how we can accomplish all the BIG things already in front of us and reduce 20% of people. And no, moving stuff to India won't solve that. The only stuff that's effective to move to India is some development and support stuff. New, big projects need to be onshore b/c of primarily the time zone differences and the skill sets.
and if they're really going to do that they should look at functions where things are inefficient, not just blanket cuts across the board.
But in typical fashion, I expect the leadership to f**k this up as usual.

So is that 20% more, on top of the original target or just 20%. The next question is are jobs moving to India in her count or is that a different metric from cuts?

But hey no one should be surprised, that is what she is known for.

Maybe TK wasn't moving fast enough to make cuts, so they brought in a chainsaw to make it happen.

Nothing like coming in, not really knowing S about anything that's happening or who's who and boldly proclaiming something like this. Yikes. Who knows, maybe directed to cut this much so it's not even a choice on her part, but Fing A.

Great- way to plan. Let’s see- don’t improve tools or processes, just get rid of people. Good idea.

Probably via relocation offers to bullsh1t locations that nobody wants to move to. Soft attrition.

Only 20%? Oh, never mind, that's probably 20% overall...meaning getting rid of most of the Americans and increasing the I&P count.
