Bridget Engle, the bank’s current CIO, will step down in September and leave the company later this year “after supporting a successful transition of her responsibilities,” a spokesperson for BNY told Banking Dive in an email Thursday.
Honestly, who even cares about this stuff anymore. All the BS stressing anyone in any LoB these days rolls down all the way from the top down. Probably won’t make a difference which people a rung or two down come and go. These c-suite stooges all make enough comp in half a decade to make most of us plebes able to retire, no matter how young. If I was making that much I wouldn’t care how my title or responsibilities changed so long as that gravy train keeps coming in.
Maybe TK should have spent more time leading and less time doing stupid little dances on her numerous road trip boondoggles.

I saw the announcement and said holy F. That’s probably the shortest tenure I’ve seen for a head of tech. So she gets demoted and Hagerman either got pushed out (likely) or has had enough of this BS. And it’s a big slap to Chintan who has the AI stuff and is far more knowledgeable. Tracy is going to f@@k it up. She was horrible in EFT and as head of tech. Dunno how she was in lending. in EFT she sacked pretty much anybody that had been around a while and brought in some other horrible leaders. One of them is now heading enterprise arch and they’ve done next to nothing She’s the one that should be out the door not hagerman.

TK should have been FIRED for her gross mismanagement. Instead she got demoted back to where she came out of and was made head of Generative AI? She can't even pronounce Nvidia...what experience does she have?
Charlie should be demoted as well. We need a new CEO.
