Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Ways to counter unjust system

Don’t listen to the m*rons and mobsters at Wellsfargo that you get unfair treatment and reviews is all because of your laziness. In the unjust system no matter what you do you will not be able to change the outcomes. You can try to join the dark side. If you can’t, you should seek for legal advice. Hire attorney to help you. Wellsfargo is modern slavery. The rules and policy at Wellsfargo is used to exploit employees. No one would help you unless you are part of the leadership mafia. If not, you have to get outsider to save you out of slavery.

I think we need a mission statement, some give and take, and more roll playing

I just can’t get over how many bemoan the situation in which they find themselves. The have’s and the have not’s. The people whom make the decisions that affect your lives and drive you to message boards such as this are much like you. The only difference is that daddy taught them that one gets to the top not by hard work, but by fostering relationships, holding your nose and playing the game. Many are too proud to do so, and end up embittered pawns. Good luck and keep up the good work

"functions"

Ha, this one's got jokes. I do have issues with what the executives are doing because they are serial liars and their actions are Fing employees, customers, and eventually share holders.

I love coming here messing with all you terds mad about how the company functions. Look at all the angry energy you expend on your perceived inequities.

@ywp+1tELpr6p - I agree. In my case it was not so- it was more like input all of the things you need to do in JIRA. Even if it means creating redundant unnecessary tasks with vague deadlines (which everybody is/was doing) and reach out to people you need to reach out to. It just made no sense.. I’m creating work for myself out of thin air but you’re the one who hired me to help. Not complaining as I was well compensated even in the severance but I just see a flawed business model and don’t understand how a bank of this size operates this way.

@tgi+1tELpr6p management should explain why they are hired.

In sacrificing our true potential, we used to be able to justify selling ourselves to a corporation for the better compensation and benefits.

Today all the bubbles in this corporate bubblewrap have popped. The employee is left bruised by:

  • Tone deaf communications from everywhere
  • Ineffective HR (performance reviews, employee care, etc)
  • Yearly raises below or barely matching rate of inflation
  • Fear based tactics (complete loss of trust in its workforce)
  • Insulting micro-managing of the most mundane low risk tasks
  • Years of keeping employees close to the "Will I get laid off this week?" ledge
  • Scandals
  • Tail-btwn-legs solution for profitability. WF used to proudly claim it was not a part of the east coast investment bank culture that caused the 2008 crash. Now it has no shame in glorifying its Hudson Yards presence, further bolstering big bank homogeneity that involves only keeping executive salaries high and severe cost cutting everywhere else.

Wells Fargo is the perfect example of an unnecessary large scale disruption from within performed in the most inefficient of ways

It's the curve enforcement. %60 meets, 20 above / 20 below. Not your fault. Fu-k this company.

A lawyer? What law is being broken?

Agreed. It seemed like my manager needed to find individuals to give inconsistently meets to justify the layoff. Probably not their fault as they are told they can’t just give all meets/exceeds. But just the fact of having to justify why the company needs you on a daily basis is exhausting… you hired me and now I need to tell you what I need to do in my role everyday? Some sense of direction or SOP or anything would help, but from day 1 it was you’re on your own. No procedures no assistance no direction. Just explain why we need you.
