I’ve heard from others at work that this is supposed to be significant date 6/25 for releasing team members? Anyone else know this as well?

It’s not that it’s better, it’s just that it means posts like this are useless misinformation for people who already have plenty to worry about.
I heard most of the Southern California Remote Workers will be included in the next lay off while San Antonio will pick up most of the calls and do their outbound collection calls.
Dispersed layoffs help ensure business continuity, if nothing else.
You do realize people will be leaving that AU as well since their 60 day will expire. Best bet would be to download into xls and then compare the two files to see the true number added.
Why is a dispersed distribution of layoffs any better than a more concentrated-by-group approach? 1000 people a month is a 1000 people per month, so what difference does it make?
Teamworks numbers do not include India except for dotted line person. Add it up for your ORG.
ALSO search for:
- remote workers, use advanced people search, select Physical Work Address 1 = Remote
- AU use advanced people search, select Cost center & enter the #
Lots of people getting laid off but the overall flow is more or less constant due to HR limitations, per previous discussions. It’s possible that they’re more focused on a particular group at any given time, which maybe what’s giving rise to the notion on here there there are “waves.” But unless you’re posting a particular LoB, the notion that any particular week is going to be especially worse than others bank-wide is BS.
How do you see the number of folks in an au?
currently approx 1900 employees in Cost Center = 0180508 before the big 6/25 hits
For those that are still in denial phase: the numbers don't change because hirings are underway in India. So if the org went down from 280k to 230k in the last 2 years, it would probably mean 10k natural turnover (resigned, retired), 70k laid off domestically, 30k added in India. That's why you are feeling like everything is disconnected, it's so hard to find ownership, people seem to be disappearing and becoming zz. It takes a huge lack of situational awareness to not see this.
Although you are “employed” for 60 days, you do get moved to a specific cost center (0180508) until you are termed. So there is incentive by the LOBs to get people off of their own cost centers before the end of Q2.
Columbia, SC location that received pre-notice in September officially closes that day. 500+ employees in multiple departments.
- 25 is real
zz.
Yeah, it's "fake" that WF has been firing about 1000 people per month for a couple years now. 😐 I really wonder about some of you people. You must work in a very deep silo indeed not to notice all the people being fired. I know a ton of good people that have been let go, and that extra billion dollars for severances is a reality. And it's on top of what they originally planned to spend. Mass layoffs are real, they happen routinely here at WF and it will continue for years to come.
Deep fake rubbish. Every week you neurotics and sociopaths vomit this cr-p
The end of Q is largely meaningless if there’s 60 notice period where you are still a bona fide employee and on payroll proper way beyond June end.
It's going to be a bloodbath!
Columbia site for Csbbo closes on that date
Well a girl can dream can’t she!
zzzzzzzzzz, give it up. The numbers never change.
I have heard this as well. End of q2 and it looks like they held back (some) during employee appreciation week.
