I have seen WIM recruiting high profile teams/advisors from our competitors recently as well. No one is posting about the teams joining WF though. Once you have an established clientele and assets under management you are worth more to another firm to lure you over, this happens all the time.
@olm the grass isn’t always greener, it’s just different grass. They received a transfer bonus for about 200% of their trailing 12 revenue. These moves happen all the time “you’re going to pay us how much?? Yeah we will move”.
Seems a lot of people don't work in WIM. These moves happen all the time. I guess you missed the two separate $10 million teams that we recruited last month.
I’d sooner put my money in an index fund than have some mo--n steer me into expensive underperforming investments and skim a percent of AUM.

Yes, to answer the comment before you, that's my point. The grass is greener on the other side. There's jobs for us out there. We've had jobs before WFC, we will have jobs after WFC. Ones where we are appreciated.
