Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

No raises?

Heard my first whisper of no performance raises this year. Apparently they didn't give them after the last big layoffs. &@?!$&!

Normally this would be a bombshell. Blatant favoritism & abuse of company money.

…… but compared to our ex-DEI’s fraud headlines, the Rat’s, and a few others in ELT…

It’s a tiny drop in the bucket. If the SEC wasn’t bought & paid for we’d be in the middle of an Enron style investigation.

Hey. Finance dudes. Remember you get to keep 10-30% of what you expose to the US government. You’d be saving the company from a slow death-by-milking too.

So it sounds like some did get one in 2020 and the rest were told that no one did. Great!

Someone got a raise in 2020? I didn’t and I thought the entire company skipped raises that year.

@1ebu+1sva4cLU I don't ask others if they got raises but I did in 2020. Granted it was only 3% but still a raise.

Yeah expect your typical 3% or 4% and they expect you to be happy about it.

Yeah, having been laid off and worrying about making my mortgage, I feel really bad for you not getting a RAISE. Fu-k you.

There will be no merit raises sorry. SD with first hand knowledge. Nike already underpaid all of us why would they stop now? I checked the open market and there are IC roles open that start higher than I make now. This place is a dumpster fire.

Raises are going to be inline with what we got in past years (~4.5% for mid-band level)

Inflation is high, on top of that if we don't get raises it will be hard to retain employees.

The amount of misinformation on this site is astounding. Yes, there were raises last time we went through big layoffs.
