Everything has been planned out that being said the name list have been finalized. If you haven’t already prepared for looking new job you better do it now.

There are a lot of people jealous of those who will be getting a large severance package. If you are in this situation, you probably worked at the bank in better times, saved up enough to retire, and will get a nice payout.
There are many people who will be laid off that are not in that situation though. For the people laid off after 5 or less years (or even slightly more) it is not a good situation now. The market is tough and the severance is not even that good for the conditions many had to endure over the last few years.
