Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

3/5 Layoffs, let the ramping up begin

850 layed off on 3/5, so the trend is definitely headed towards peak domestic employee purges. About 500 were remote.

Good luck to everyone that was impacted, and will be. It's going to be a mess for some time.

Can't comment on the numbers but a lot of people got let go from Credit in Equipment Finance. Whilst Charlie brings in his retired old mate from JPMC. He is clueless, shameless and complete ar-e.

I answered your id--tic questions about how I get to the data and happened to pull it two days in row, for you mind you, and provided how I do it in all of 15 seconds each time. You asked for proof, there you go, no bias, just numbers. Unless you think numbers are biased and then I'll just lump you in with the rest of the DEI m0r0ns running around. Maybe I should have written it with crayons so you could understand it better? I just don't know how to help you further. I would like to see things from your point of view but I just can't seem to get my head that far up my a$$.

Ah ok, guess we’ll just have to take your biased word for it on those stats, since most of us don’t take time out of each day to autistically track doom po-n for petty internet grudges lol

Getting rid of 'legacy Wells' (meaning pre-Shart) workers is the objective, he does NOT want anyone transferring to other roles to avoid layoffs. He wants us gone. This is why the STAR program was ki-led off and why they discriminate against internal job seekers desperately trying to avoid the axe. All part of Shart's war on domestic employees.

I'm glad you brought that up! Wells Fargo is no longer hiring "Remote" workers. So, we can only ascertain that that number will NOT go up. If it does go up, it would be by 1 or 2 people max, but I doubt it will rise at all.

@1zac+1snhm6co

For the advanced search, you need to select the magnifying glass icon in the upper right hand corner of Team Works and drop down the list to select Advance Search. On the next screen find Preferred Full Name and drop down that list and change to Physical Work Address City and type "Remote". When a person is 100% remote, the city in which they work is listed as Remote. As of this morning (5/7/204) 22,299. This is a decrease of 15 souls since yesterday. It's also a drop of 1,357 souls since 4/5/2024 (23,656) when I first started capturing that data.

I will say this also, some of those people may have converted to a hub location, but again, those numbers are small in comparison to those being let go. I personally only know of 2 people who have even been offered a Relocation Package. I'm not the OP, but I am @1vpt+1snhm6co.

Change the internal hiring process. Move the people where there is need and train them. Company can save lot of money.

Domestic headcount went up in small amounts in 10 of those 60 days, the other 50 were negative, though a few days were flat. The total reduction during that 60 period was over 2200 (not including the 850). Any other questions? None of this is more complicated than addition, so not a whole lot of math is being done here.

hey, all you math wizards, how many were hired in that 60 days? I noticed not one of you factored that count in your equation!!!

Don't worry, they are firing people that can spell, and those that can't. We're all in the same boat regardless of our skills.

The people on here saying you can't prove the counts are the same people who don't know how to use a sum() function in Excel and send it back for you to fix. They require step by step on how to figure out where you got your numbers from.

It's simple, and teamworks has all of the information you need. There is a beginning count, which you would need to grab now. And in 60 days you can go to the same place and see what the new number is and do something called "subtraction". That's where your new number comes in. Example: I got 100 correct on my math test. You got 40 correct on yours. That means my score was 60 points better. 100 - 40 = 60

When I look at teamworks right now (5/6/2024) there are 22,314 people who are currently listed as 100% remote. You can go back to the same spot and see what is listed tomorrow or 2 weeks or 60 days. It just takes a little "effort". Unfortunately, most people don't want to put in the effort, instead they'll say things like "fabricated statistics" or "unverifiable data".

So, go to teamworks, do an advanced people search and see where this "wizardry" comes from.

Location strategy displacements (including FT remote not within 40 miles of go-forward location) is on top of "BAU" layoffs.

And what’s your lie about how you knew the exact amount of remote workers? Surely it’s not some unverifiable data only you have access to, yet again.

You’re just the same nutcase troll trying to rile up remote workers out of sour grapes.

Takes 60 days for the data to show, because people on their notice period are still employees. We knew people were fired on 3/5, what we didn't know was how many. Now we do. Not surprisingly the Kool aid drinkers, apologist, and those in denial are doing their 'job' today.

There's nothing fabricated about it. Ever heard of Teamworks? FFS.

Not sure what's worse, uncaring executives firing people left and right so they can get millions more in pay, or our fellow employees pretending that those that are being downsized don't exist / matter.
