Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Did anyone’s manager ever share the employee survey results for your team?

Our director promised they’d be shared and they would ask for feedback but then they started laying people off on our team and then we never heard anything again LOL…I guess they’re not even pretending to care anymore at this point

Yep, exactly. They always turn around the execs deficiencies on us plebes. It's like if you answer the survey saying that WF is a racist org. Guess who's taking a zillion stupid develop you courses and having a bunch of time wasting box checking about DE&I? Sure as he-l isn't the executives.

yes, everyone got it, a handful of us worked in a small group to decipher and come up with action plan that went nowhere.

I got so despondent with that place that I started answering the surveys honestly.

Honestly not taking the survey or giving horrible answers is the best. They cannot see your actual answers but if you are on a small team your manager may be able to figure out who you are. Uncle Chuck is sad that the survey responses are going down and the responses are even lower.

Foolishly I’ll admit, I took the survey and gave Wells Fargo high ratings in every category thinking it would save my job. It did not.The survey is an id--t test to see who will complete it. Yes… I failed.

Who gives a rip about some global survey? Be glad they didn't because then you would have to participate in "improvements meetings" and get tasked with time wasting exercises that won't lead to any improvements. The fact that they didn't share anything tells you volumes of how much they care about it.
Drop it and move on.

Someone mentioned that responses are used against you. True. We were told that location strategy is a result of a low score around transparency from senior leadership. 🙄

So if we are in an office, they magically become transparent?

I declined to take the latest survey after reading the privacy disclosure. By accepting the notice, everyone who took the survey agreed that the third party conducting the survey had the right to a staggering range of personal data including salary, job performance data and the medical records of the employee and the employee's family. HR was not fully transparent about this privacy notice and deflected concerns that were raised. I will never take another WF survey.

The j my interesting note was how many people were seeking to leave. And then when you think of how many people still said no when they wanted to say yes… yikes

The absolute loudest message you could ever deliver to the ivory tower is to never take their surveys again. ANY answers you provide can and will be used against you. The only winning move is not to play.

I really don't care anymore, it won't make any difference, and it never did.
