We are becoming a joke

Is it possible for AT&T to have executives who are not just a clown rodeo show?

Not becoming - we are!!! What until the May 10th call for public sector that will say everything is ok and layoffs are done but they will sc--w your a-s on quota this year just like the BS they pulled in the 4th qtr of last year. I bet the AVPs’s, RVPs and SVPs didn’t get capped like the sales team did. Oh well, pay you at the AvP level. BUT! that Sales Dir who had a 2$ million dollar credit not accrued last year went to President Club dispute everyone knowing this - AVP Nash!!! Burry the email and don’t bring it up, but keep the BS rolling as rainbows and sunshine and your favorites will be taken care of. You are socially disturbed and provide no value to your team. Just reality sorry and you need to go!

“They are misinformed, they honestly believe most , if not all employees, are yucking it up! Stankey always bragged about knowing more about acting and movies than anyone, he's living his dream.”

The yes man phenomenon.
T tends to promote yes men, and people who don’t question decisions or push back about bad engineering choices, etc.
It’s why they’re in the predicament they’re in now with debt.

They say they want to change the culture, get younger more critical people in the company, but at the same time they don’t want to be told they’re wrong.
It’s a catch-22.

This is why we need a total change of leadership, until that happens nothing will change with the company.

Despite yearning for change, they reinforce the culture that got them here to begin with, promoting people who refuse to question the status quo or speak up and say: “hey yeah, maybe this infrastructure choice isn’t the best” or “hey maybe we don’t need to try and be the next Netflix when most of our management can barely use outlook and are non-technical mo--ns”

Nailed it! This list could go on and on and on!

Leadership Culture: “If you don’t like it, leave!” and they want to know why culture is what it is.

Culture change - leadership can start by vowing to never again say “If you don’t like it, leave!”. Not only elementary school level but just plain disrespectful.

No, it's no longer possible with the Stinky pajama show, the shave yourself bald show when you started out bald, the eat the hot pepper show, the show off your kitchen and cheerleader kids show, just about anything Legg does to start his town halls, etc. The clown hits will just keep coming because the clowns are in charge.

What are you talking about, OP? We’ve been a d-mb joke for a long time but thanks for the reminder! The buy high, sell low. D-mb town hall with fuggin leadership making fun of employees har har har like Sambar and StAnkey and proudly saying it out loud “I don’t care” like they’re fuggin immortal. Layoffs every week in management, can’t reach into an agreement with CWA, treating our techs and union like sh3it, low stock prices and somehow the fu--ing genius are still getting paid big money, RTO force even for employees that have no apparent reason to go into the office but can “connect” and should “network” with others, d-mbest statement! Threatening the employees to comply with at least 3 days RTO otherwise 5 days RTO like they’re some kind of principals asking the kindergarteners to obey. So d-mb! The list goes on and on and on and on and on.

Oh Wise one (LOL)

How do T employees “layoff” the C-Suite and BOD who have made and agreed to the BAD decisions that have put T in MILLIONS of $$ in DEBT (buy high, sell low) and can’t figure out how to increase revenue. Therefore, T has to continue laying off THOUSANDS of employees to try and get to profitability.

How do employees do the above, oh wise one?
How do you expect employees, right the wrong decisions that T leadership has made? What solution do you have to offer up?

The LEADERSHIP that got T into this situation should LEAD T out of it. Good Luck With That!

LEADERSHIP’S Answer= Massive T Layoffs to right THEIR WRONG

Not as long as we have a goodolboy rubberstamp Board. Paramount just showed the way — it IS possible to dump a failing CEO, but the Board has to do it. This bunch of cronies will never so that.

You will see the stock price start to go up because of the inflationary economy that is getting closer to a recession. The stock still pays a dividend which makes it attractive, though it has been reduced from the recent past. it’s been evaluated that it is undervalued by several on Wall Street, like Barron’s, etc. in times of worsening economic headwinds people head to safe havens like, dividend stocks that have been around for a long time.

Wall Street didn’t like big changes and guidance modifications because the company didn’t meet their FCF expectations a few quarters. The stock was also driven down by the news story about possible lead liabilities which, hasn’t proven to be an issue after testing and evaluation by AT&T and other federal agencies.
