Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

COO Control ORG Mass HITS Continue!

Appears the Control Org is taking mass hits with continued layoffs each week and word on the street is Senior Leadership is now saying the org is top heavy which they have informed existing employees they need to reconsider their career opportunities or may be faced with Job Title Demotions ... this continues along with the ongoing location strategy which we all know is just in place to address the mass layoffs and staff reductions.

Looks like we now can say Control Org = Offshore resources will be the norm.

@mmz+1sj4EVYC, speaking of accountability, most executives and managers do not seem to have a sense of accountability. Every time they sc--w up, they always point the finger at their direct reports and try to get away with it. These lazy executives and managers are wasting the company's money and they need to be removed.

Agree with last poster but comes down to accountability. If you are not accountable we don’t need you. Way too many informative roles. Waste of money and efficiency’.

I&P control is massive in FTE and has been staffed up/over staffed for the last 2 years. US COO in general is also over staffed and now duplicative in many areas. I hate this for us in the US. It’s just an awful environment here at WF.

Very true, the number of people in this org that do nothing but check the checkers is astounding. I think they could literally lose half of the group and no one would notice. And our team deals with them day in and day out.

I can’t be the only one to think this is good news. CE team has zero accountability other than tracking. My three year old can track a due date. Complete joke and WF needs to realize they this role need to into the business to actually get any value out of these folks.
