To all the leaders who may or may not been involved in the selection process, you can still be human. If you had a good relationship with your impacted employee or an employee in your org, it’s ok to show a little care and compassion. You don’t have to discard your employee like yesterday’s trash. Maybe even offer them support in their job search or just check in. Be human.

My so called leader hid like a little girl behind the HR person and barely mumbled 2 sentences. Haven't heard him since. He showed his true colors there. Can't wait to hear back what he tells the team on how well and respectful hé handled it.
Unfortunately, many of the leaders at Nike are self-centered, self promoters, and Backstabbers.
there aren't a lot of jobs in this market and they are probably using their connections for their next moves anyways.
Most leads barely wanted to bother with their minions while they were employed.
You are asking too much of the leaders at Nike…. 99% will keep a huge distance from their employees
