If they don’t own the building then maybe it was the building owners who paid for the renovations and not Wells? Maybe they could see the writing on the wall so they wanted to try and spruce it up to better attract a new tenant once Wells is out.

Why does wells spend the money to refurbish P1 and then leave in under a year? I cannot believe is it to improve the working environment in the short term. When we had a RTO call several months ago with the WEC building people, they said there was no intentions to open a new cafeteria - then it actually happened. Also a large group of people moved in the mostly empty P1 cube farm with their own access control.
Several threads about Winston already … closing in 2025 but seems to be ramping up, so most gone by end of year. Data center only thing that will be there and that will be gone by end of 2025. I was forced to displace people there in March, so know some stuff (certainly not all).
The only rumblings you hear are the ones in my bowels.
Does anyone really care?
