How is everyone getting their formal notifications? I received a pre-notice on March 5th and was told I would receive a formal notification “mid-March.” When should I expect my formal notification and how will it come? Mail, email, phone call, etc? My manager couldn’t answer any of my questions because she is kept in the dark.

Some LOBs are getting pre-notice of 2 weeks. If your pre-notice was given on March 5, your notice will happen this Tuesday, March 19. Expect to be invited to a meeting on Tuesday morning. Most likely you’ll get that invite tomorrow after hours. On Tuesday, you’ll be given your notice and will have a short time to check your PTO for accuracy before your computer access is removed. Your 60-day non-working notice begins then. Severances starts after the 60 days is up.
My manager told me my position was being eliminated on March 5th and that was my pre-notice. I have not been given the choice to relocate. She said I would get my formal notification in mid March and that it would be a 60 day notice. That is all I know right now.
There is no pre-notice if you are getting laid off like most. No warning, no nothing. Now, are you referring to something else, like you are being given the chance to relocate?
You will get an email with a link to the displacement "board" a day or two after your notice on that Tuesday. The link to OKTA to access workday will take about 48 hrs at most to get to your email.
After that you will be able to access Workday via your personal PC for 8 weeks.
"you'll be formally notified verbally in a meeting on tuesday morning"
Yes, this. I had a meeting with my manager and my "displacement" was verbally communicated to me. I then received a packet in the mail shortly thereafter with instructions how to proceed to get my severance.
That's pretty formal.
