They refuse to tell us the simple truth, that Shart irrationally hates US employees and wants to get rid of as many of us as possible, so instead there is a never ending conga line of fake excuses for firing people. RTO, location strategy, negative reviews based on very dubious claims and forced ranking etc. Every 6 months or so they roll out another BS excuse. There is only one strategy coming out of HY, and it's the Exterminate the Domestic Workforce Strategy. That's it. That's the plan. Crazy thing is, some people continue to carry water for these evil people. Talking about "dead wood" and "hillbil--es in fly over country". People need to wake the he-l up. They are coming for ALL of us. As soon as they are able to do so, mortgage and retail will be withered away and how many domestic employees will you need then? Hardly any. It's coming, and those POSs in HY can't wait to get rid of you.

It's hard to understand how remote management matches up with their RTO fixation on everyone being in the same location because so much valuable collaboration occurs in the hallways. HY seems to have trouble sticking to a plausible narrative.
the same reason they can't report to is, we can't report to them. all kinds of legal reasons as well as how they setup the legal entity in India.
I am actually surprised that the Indians don’t require more of this. Somehow we can’t expect to use them as a market without giving them some jobs.
When they realize the are giving more than they get in return, we’ll have to shift some higher level jobs to keep access to that market.
