Ok comrades if we are going to get through this, we need to talk about some new rules.
- If you are in global tech, GAP, insights, innovation etc., STOP asking if they are done with restructuring your department. They will be done May 31st. You are not safe. No one is safe.
- Can we put unnecessary politics on hold for a second? Stop bashing wOkEism and DEI. Yea, DEI needs a shakeup but caring about inclusion isn’t why we are in this mess. Cr-ppy leaders is why we are in this mess. (This is a distraction that takes us away from solving the issues at hand. And, you sound like a hateful a-hole).
- Demand a work environment that allows you to be as productive as possible. Be honest with your bosses about what you need. What isn’t working? Why? Do you have data to back that up? Numbers talk.
- Leaders: Stop saying this to your teams. “Dig deep and find your purpose.” That was an appropriate platitude 12-18 months ago. We’re tired. The why is that we have bills to pay.
