Immediate manager told us there won’t be a location strategy for our group. Layoffs will continue to be based on performance and workload. Naturally everyone on my team is kissing a$$ so they don’t get laid off. Anyone else experiencing this?

@yfc+1rqvxK6t Not true Audit in Denver is gone. Paul coming to office next week to answer questions. Surely Risk is gone there as well.
There hasn’t been one announced for Risk yet, but it’s coming. DF said it in his December town hall.
I have seen the same thing in audit and risk.
My manager has turned into a huge softy, rolling on back and making sure there is zero friction anywhere. All that matters is eliminating any possible negative visibility, even if that visibility is the right thing to do. It doesn't matter if our team is greatly inconvenienced or long term risk goes up. Short term resolution at all costs wins out.
This is somewhat understandable, as upper management leaves much to be desired. They are completely untrustworthy, unpredictable and have no time to thoughtfully address things from a level of any expertise.
