Mine was scheduled for 8:30 the next morning. It would seem 'last minute'. I got lucky and happen to see it the night before (still working from home, had left the computer on and happened check while getting another drink).
the vagueness of the meeting seemed to me like I was going to be 'whacked', so I prepared appropriately.
What department are you in?

All the managers have been briefed with the cuts. Any last minute would be on your manager's lack of planning.

interesting. I don't want to cause worry, but if it was vague, that's how my 'whacked' notification came.......
