You're f'd. At this point keep your chin up and pack up the box you'll carry out the door. They will point at you as you take the walk of shame.....but look past them.
Unfortunately, based on what we know, everyone in Sacramento in a non retail location will be laid off within the next 2-3yrs. Thats starting now and ongoing until the location strategies are complete. Sacramento has not been listed as a core location or specialized location for any LOB thus far.

If you're in Sacto and listed as "Remote" in Workday, you're being laid off soon (definitely in 2024).
Layoff, by 2026 at the latest.
LOBs in Sacramento have already been hit with layoffs…and more will follow soon.
You're gone......I'd bet before next Friday.
While your position will eventually be impacted, you are safe for 2024. This year they will prioritize the many markets with only a few workers.

Technology Hub Locations
Bangalore
Chennai
Hyderabad
Charlotte, NC
Columbus, OH
Dallas, TX
Des Moines, IA
Minneapolis, MN
New York City Metro, NY/NJ

Technology Specialty Market Hub Locations
Boston, MA
Chicago, IL
Philadelphia, PA/Wilmington, DE

And if you are no where these locations you are pretty much gone by 2026 but most likely sooner.
depends on your LOB but best case you'll be allowed to stay as long as you go into local office, just don't expect any upward or lateral movement. most likely you'll be laid off
