So, when are the SWMs getting passed over for POCs going to lawyer up and hold this Company accountable for complying with equal employment law?
It's obvious this is happening, even more so when Recruiters are 80% female, ER "investigators" are 75% minority and not even remotely experienced in investigation.
It’s so interesting that when we hire friends of friends and use nepotism NO ONE is getting rid of anyone. It has happened and continues to happen every single day!. My group is FULL of friends scratching one another”s backs and they are NOT the MOST qualified. These TOP salaries come with all types of stock options and hefty bonuses!I hear it all the time through this organization!
This group IS costing NOTHING compared to the majority of mediocre Directors, SM, etc . rampant in this company b/c of the decades of “friend” hiring practices!I have to watch every day these people catapult to the TOP off of nothing but FRIENDSHIPS! In two- four years they continue to get promoted!

Speak for yourself! I don't even have friends in the locations I hire in, so even if I really wanted to hire friends, I couldn't.
Most of the minorities I hired through normal hiring were good workers. Every single one I hired through targeted diversity hiring has been a bad worker.
Well the problem is we don't hire the most qualified people - we hire friends. Hire the most qualified and there is no need for DSRI.
Please hire based on merit, if the location doesn’t have a suitable candidate just hire elsewhere instead of forcing fits that backfire…
WF is only concerned about their ESG score and the kickbacks they receive. This is as artificial as RTO being about 'collaboration' as you sit on a Teams call in a cube rather than at home.

To me, they are artificially trying to create a track record and of being ‘inclusive’. This helps their defense for when the lawsuits come their way from disgruntled employees and/or customers from protected classes accusing them of bias.
No one in finance actually values diversity, dollars and cents are what count. There are always ulterior motives to these pushes.
I was speaking with a guy who is very engaged... he asked me what I thought and then admitted that these roles are just a dog and pony show. They are not empowered to do anything more than townhall type engagements and nothing has changed. With that said he said they would enjoy the nice salaries regardless
