I received a low rating this year and with made up feedback. I havn't received notice yet, but the writing is on the wall. Once you have that meeting, how long do you have, or is it immediate?

Looking back I am grateful for this process. On the Citi board, they are told by their manager they are laid off but don't get anything from HR for up to 4 weeks. Figure that this is one of the processes that SVB got automated.
It varies based on how your department chooses to handle it. I got 24 hours notice. The people in the previous layoffs in my department either got 2 hours or 30 minutes. I think they finally figured out since they have eliminated so many admins that the “offboarding” process needs to be refined in some cases.
I'm in phase one slated to be laid off between now and June of this year and already said my goodbyes to my team.
15 minutes. Have your goodbye email saved as a draft and ready to send. Empty your office now. If you are not laid off, you can always bring things back into the office.

I got 30 minutes. System access cut off. Did not give a sheet but wished I had time to say goodbye to some true friends over almost 40 years. But I was happy as he'll to get severance and get the he-l out. Last 10 years when the serious game playing started and in particular after ba-f came on it really suuuckked.
the manager pushes a button to validate that they delivered the message and you are cut off within an hour. If the manager doesn't push the button, you are cut off automatically at 2pm Eastern time (regardless of your time zone)
