location strategy (including FT remote) applies to managers. I know several who are impacted. remote work is being exited, just the "how" and "when" depends on OC, geography and accommodation if any.
If remote and not within 40 miles of a go-forward location - relocate or be severed (and for some, no option to relo), notified when your OC does their location strategy notifications, first one is supposed to be in the april-june timeframe. There will be more than one "wave" of these notifications so not everyone will get caught in the first one.
If remote and within 40 miles of go-forward location - RTO (this has happened in CSBB already), different LOB/OC are on different schedules for this.
If you have an approved accommodation, it will not "save" you from location strategy. It can buy you time if you are 40 miles or under from a go forward location - but all accommodations are subject to periodic review and they are getting stricter and stricter about what circumstances allow WFH accommodations.
It will be a very different picture by the end of this year, you will rarely see FT remote ppl.
