Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

WFA

It appears that Mike C, the Regional President of the Northeast, has reached his limit with the dog and pony show WFA has become. Apparently he ha decided to retire with just one day's notice.

I guarantee they gave him a package. Probably signed an NDA though

Told to retire equals a 60 days non working period and whatever severance they qualify for (up to a year). Who wins?

When are they going to get rid of Heather H R? She is an embarrassment and completely unqualified.

Not only were they reviewing him for reasons not to be discussed here, they basically just ripped the band aid off and told him to leave right away.

Why are regional presidents even necessary? Aren’t they anachronistic vestiges of the past?

I heard that he was told to retire or else. I am uncertain about the details, but it was provided by a somewhat trustworthy source.

Eventually WFA will just be PO Box in South Dakota. WFC is absorbing WFA specific roles and operations. They are already serviced by the same offshore teams. What a miserable place to work, waiting around for your time to come

Mike C was a very bad man as they say. He destroyed many lives in the Northeast Region at WFA, and I'm so glad he finally got his just reward. Especially the way he was tossed out in one day without no phony farewells allowed. Happy he got to leave in shame. Well-deserved.

I don't know what you just rambled on about, but whatever it is it didn't have anything to do with this leadership change.

In Shart's business model you're either a sycophant or you'll be eliminated. We're getting to the point where there will be fewer dissenting voices in the OC than in the Fuhrer's bunker. Once that purge is complete, then the real madness will begin and their 'smart new ideas' will start to cause serious issues. It's environments like that where exec pet projects become the next "8 is Great" and no one even questions them until it's to late.
