Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Later Wells…poke the bear enough and ultimately this high achiever looked elsewhere and found a ki-ler gig for more money and less BS

Wouldn’t have even looked if they hadn’t taken away many of our non-monetary benefits (WFH 2-3 days a week, snacks, offsites, catered lunches, happy hours) and lowered our target bonus.

When I looked I was surprised to find out how under compensated I actually was.

60% pay increase with the new gig. Later wells!

Back in the day We got lunches during meetings occasionally. One day a week we had bagels and cream cheese for breakfast

Happy hours were great to connect with and mentor junior team members.

The real kick the ba--s were 2 days to 3 days to 4 days in office.

That Applebee's comment is brilliant.

In what LOB were you receiving regular lunches, paid booze, free snacks, etc? 25 years with the company and I've never seen that.

WF puts its workers last, efficiency/blandness first. It is running on the marketing fumes of being a friend in the neighborhood, the equivalent of Applebee's. This is nonsense.

Couldn't be any happier for anyone that leaves WF and wins. Sadly this bank doesn't blink at losing talent.

This is my story as well. I am grateful to Wells , things got so terrible in the end that it fueled my aggressive job search . Feel blessed to be out of that s#1t#0le. I encourage everyone to use this time to upskill and apply elsewhere. Job market is tough, but don't give up. WF doesn't deserve any high performing individuals.
