What Areas Experience the Highest Level of Layoffs?

Any idea what areas experience the highest number of layoffs over the last 12 months? Surely DEI is a non revenue generating area.

The primary driver is what Shart "likes". He doesn't like the mortgage business, so he's ki-ling it. After those emotion-driven decisions, then the cost considerations come in. If it can be outsourced or contracted, it will be. The goal is the absolute minimum number of domestic employees.
