Anybody know anything about the Wiseman campus? They have been renovating. I also read an article that said they are reducing their footprint in San Antonio. Wondering if they are planning to shut this campus down?

Wiseman has numerous LOBs including a large call center presence. There are plans to build another building by 308. Don't know if that will come to fruition. A large solar farm was built during covid and upgrades continuing for perimeter security. I don't see it closing but see other buildings consolidated into it such as Cable Ranch, Isom Rd, and others.
As usual "they" don't know what they are talking about.
Absolutely no privacy at Wiseman even for those whose job requires sensitive conversations. They tell you to use a focus room and yet the walls are paper thin clearly hearing what is being said in the adjacent office. Their current design approach was popular 10 years ago. Give us an office or let us work remote.
As Charles Barkley says, there some big ole women down in SA
Wiseman is not going anywhere, I actually want to relocated to the Wiseman building I believe my LOB in my state will be selling the building shortly meanwhile in Wiseman they are hiring consistently and growing.
At worst they are revamping wiseman to sell as they are redoing all the roads and renovating buildings. But San Antonio is a growth and niche growth hub depending on where you look so no, we won’t be moving to Dallas any time soon.
They know, they just don't care. Also, everyone thinks they need privacy. They'll just say that we all work on sensitive items so it doesn't matter. Or they'll say that you can use a focus room.
I think it might be a hub for operations, but not too many other groups. if they are investing in it right now, that's a good sign they're keeping it open.
Lots of tech and mortgage related groups at Wiseman, that does not bode well. Also, the remodeled spaces are absolutely horrendous to work in. I know CPG has no idea how people work or what they need, but in my role privacy is essential and their cute little interior design plan specifically seems to eliminate any semblance of privacy. It's mo--nic.
When they talk about reducing footprint in San Antonio they mean all the other admin buildings. We used to have people all over the place. Now Wiseman is just about it, and the population there has grown modestly in 2023 so it's a location we can still hire in. That bodes well for its temporary future. That said, eventually all the hubs in the US other than HY will go.
It will be closed so move to Dallas now.
