Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Advantage TMobile and Verizon

All Big Three carry and enormous amount of debt. But much of ATT's debt is simply losses on it's ill fated ventures with DTV and Time Warner. In other words Ten's of Billions of Dollars worth of Debt carried on the balance sheet are simply losses on those acquisitions and breakups. On the other hand TMobile and Verizon have been far more laser focused on their efforts and their debt represents a far better spectrum position than ATT. While not as noticeable now it will be in the years to come. Also if TMUS and Verizon take the lion's share of US Cellular's Assets then ATT will fall much much further behind in the national race for wireless and the end consumer.

AT&T counts wireless connections. So to say those are cellphone connections is inaccurate.
There are only 300 million cellphones in the USA. If I’m taking the OPs numbers we would be far and above that number at almost 500million.

AT&T has almost twice as many subscribers as Verizon. I don't think your statement is accurate or factual.

Largest American wireless providers
AT&T Mobility: 229.1 million (Q2 2023)
Verizon: 143.3 million (Q2 2023)
T-Mobile US: 117.9 million (Q3 2023)
Dish Wireless: 7.5 million (Q3 2023)
uscellular: 4.6 million (Q3 2023)
