RTO is 3 days a week in your designated location, staying in the office a minimum of 4 hours on-site (more if your manager requires).

Fun fight club tip here: had someone test a theory about rto and reporting with their manager agreeing to help. (That person was not me)

Apparently, logging in on branch WiFi for 15 minutes counts. Use that as you will.

RTO is nothing more than a tool to get rid of people without paying severance, so it's entirely on topic.

Isn't this a layoff site?

Non-assigned location is working out of an office that you’re not assigned to. I have a teammate that is assigned to Tempe but works out of a Phoenix office. All you have to do is add the location to your badge in Guardian.

yes, commercial has been telling their people 4 days per week however they use the same report and again has been communicated on this site over and over again the last few months as well as the general guidance, all in detail. The 4 hours comes from minimum of half day PTO/volunteering counting as an in office day. if you are in the same office as your manager and they want to see you there 8 hours a day then so be it. in terms of reporting, it is a 4 week rolling average I believe, and if your average is not 3 days then your manager gets a notification. not all managers have access to the dashboard, but in the dashboard you can drill down to the individual days. There is also a flag that indicates you are using a non assigned location more than 50% of the time. Weekends also count as an in office day so if you swing by on a Sunday and swipe your badge it will be counted, just hope no one is digging too deeply as to why you are bading on Sundays. a badge swipe, network login, travel booked through concur , 4hr+ PTO, and holidays all count as in office. they are checking hours systemically. it's simple yes or no. given it is a rolling average you could miss days one week and make them up the next and still show 3 days. your lob mY be doing there own thing but this is the guidance, what's reported, and what counts.

Dinosaurs. Companies that realize the value of remote work will win, as will their employees. It's inevitable.

CRE slowly undergoing revolution and dinosaurs are just dragging out the inevitable. If they want to be competitive and forward-thinking, rip off the band-aid.

I love all the people getting ticked off saying 3 days a week and “to look it up” when Commercial is 4 days. My team has looked all over and can’t find anything saying 4 days. So how do we really know they aren’t counting to the hour?? Do the reports just show 3 or 4 days or is it something like 3.5 days?

Where are people coming up with this minimum number of hours stuff? I thought all they could see is whether or not you check in.

The dashboard only shows your days in office. If you badge swipe or get a WiFi connection then you get in-office credit. It does not show your hours nor is it likely to do so anytime soon.

not this again. just search this site for RTO and pull up any of the dozens of posts about this topic including what details are in the report.

I hate RTO as much as the next person but it’s 3 days a week in office. If your hours are 8 hour shift (pre wfh) then you are in 8 hours unless your role has specifically changed. The ones that aren’t doing this are going to sc--w us all over.
