Those in California can blame only their states employment policies for the great corporate departures and job cuts. Would never do business with or employee anyone in the state of California.

I heard we are supposed to wear pajamas to work that day. There are network managers that have local union reports that are not being asked to move at this time.

I am certain he will use the corporate jet for his outing. There goes more tens of thousands that could have gone into the business and is wasted.

@inn+1qPwqEJd,

No one is going to ask this. I realize you are frustrated but you are wasting your time. You say Network but you haven’t described which part of network in mobility or wireline.

The bottom line is that if you are affected then take a look at your situation and see what makes the most sense for you. Either ride this out or make a change. Worrying about others is simply a path to despair. At this point the leadership team is not going to just shift their momentum until they see a change from Wall Streets attitude towards the business.

It su-ks and I get it but you need to refocus and work on your path forward and let others work on theirs. No amount of questions from the L5 and down are going to be considered by senior leadership at this point.

Do what is right for you and your family.

Sadly John is in California to play golf at ATT Pebble Beach this week. Someone should ask him, "John, are you here because you care about us or are you here here because it is a convenient stop on the way to Pebble Beach?"

Someone ask
Why his network org still allows so many to live outside his 9 designated cities.
Yes some may need to be there but he should look at how many are being allowed to stay there bc of political favoritism while just as good employees that haven’t been highlighted for favor already are on a time clock to leave the business bc they won’t move.
Ask him if he plans to address the existing favoritism problem of those outside the 9 that don’t have to move. We were told CS doesn’t care and doesn’t plan to change this and will change it back when JS leaves.
So… shouldn’t someone see the unfairness in this? Is it 9 cities or not and who is allowed an exception and why? Please type this question in Inquire if it’s even available. Or good luck to the person who asks…
I thought T was about equality?

John, you named 9 cities and caused a lot of people to move or move on. There’s many outside the 9 that execs claim are “needed”.
Maybe some but we sure hope you are checking the list because lots who have exceptions are not due to skill but to politics - someone higher up likes. Also, we’re hearing organizations are locked for 2024 - no intention to downsize anymore.
How do you feel about all the “exceptions”? And what are you planning to do to make it fair and the rule apply for all or at least have a small exception.

You should know, the favoritism for employees allowed to work outside the 9 especially those whose direct reports are in the 9 is a detractor and slap in the face.
What are you doing to make it right?
