Because I am sure there will be thousands of people wondering where their paycheck is, if your paycheck this week will be over $10K due to your bonus it will not show up in your bank account until Friday. Early pay day only applies to amounts less than 10k.

Thank you to the original poster for sharing this. Prevented confusion for me.
you can dip into the funds if you wanted to. early pay day was just WF copying what other banks were already doing.
I have a Wells deposit into my Wells account and while they let me know how much is coming two days before payday, it never says I can get to it.
Is Tech affected?
Early pay was the absolute d-mbest idea in the history of this bank (and that speaks volume)!— it is STILL every 2 weeks? I hope the person or team who decided this was their AGILE approach has been shown the door— because there is a ton of NON HUB talent being shown the door and those employees had ideas that actually helped our customers, employees and/or saved the company $—
Internal use only, sorry.
Can confirm, I’m a branch banking employee and this happens with every single quarterly bonus.
I didn’t even know this existed
Did not even know this existed, but saw a notice on teamworks.
Early pay day doesn't post for me until Friday anyway.
we should have never started doing early pay day, now everyone expects their paychecks early so when it doesn't show up on wed or Thu they feel they didn't get paid and start worrying and making calls.
This is your respective bank’s criteria for early deposit… search it up.
Thanks for this . I remembered something similar happening last year
go into workday, select pay, and you will get a notification you have to click out of that informs you of this info
Please cite your source. There is nothing on the company site about this in the early payday features or details.
