Glad I've never had to worry about being forced to move to a different state thanks to my union contract.

Do you mean the Saginaw center?
I’ve worked with several union members who moved for their jobs because their center shut down. It just happened last year in Michigan.
Union leaders are not much better than AT&T
They never forced you to move to a different state cause they canned your a-s !
OP started to partake early lol. Ask your union brethren how their call center jobs are going. Yeah that’s what we thought.
Union will get smashed when their contracts expire……better save your money Jethro
Wow, United we stand, divided we fall. Fighting amongst each other will get you nowhere.
Would you like a cookie?
This is s troll. There's no way a union member could have figured out how to type a post on this site!
If you are a union member then you don’t represent the majority of members with this mean spirited post. As has been posted many times, most titled “management” employees are IT, support, administrative, etc.. The minority C-suite leadership is where all the animus needs to directed for the failings.
Long time Union member here, this post is disgusting, I believe it’s a troll. The company and employees are successful when all work towards a common goal, unfortunately that has been muddled and leadership has lost its way this past decade. The results of failed leadership has been discussed many times.
I noticed that the union was passed over for the huge fiber project. Not a single att truck in the neighborhoods. Yes, you seem to be depended on heavily for major initiatives. Careful on trolling, your foundation is just as soft, in different ways. May your luck be equal to your quality of care for your fellow att employees.
Glad I never had to live on the chicken feed you guys get.
Not everyone is getting the option to move. Many are just being surplused outright. Calling this is a forced move is inappropriate. You have been given a choice.
You mean “YET”.
122% bonus and unlimited sick time. We get neither in the union. Just seniority based security.
A union person with 45 years is unlikely to be on this site. We’re just jealous of your wfh rules but glad we didn’t leave the union for management. I’m not the OP
What is the purpose of a post like this? It seems so mean spirited and useless.
No, you just take the job of a young family man with young kids so you can keep milking the company even tho you have 45 years service.
