Wells Fargo’s $6.5 Million Settlement Gets OK in Wage, Hour Suit

Wells Fargo Bank NA‘s $6.5 million settlement of class action claims by the lender’s California employees won final approval in the Central District of California.
The settlement, approved by Judge John A. Kronstadt of the US District Court for the Central District of California, allocates $1.6 million to a meal and rest period settlement class; $500,000 to a waiting time penalty settlement class; and more than $2 Million to a branch banking settlement class. The order was docketed Tuesday.

I started with WF as a branch teller in California. Every year or two I get a letter letting me know I am eligible to take part in a class-action lawsuit against WF for wage & hour violations. I have received checks from four class-action suits against WF since I started with the bank 10 years ago. Wild.
