Thread regarding Capital One layoffs

FRP

I am in the finance rotational program (1st rotation) and honestly I am going to leave when my first rotation ends. This company is a total shitshow and the way they treat their employees is messed up.
Total opposite of what I expected.

I know people in other rotational programs that were out on PIPs. Some have left before their rotations finished and I see why.

Like really? Who puts people on rotational programs on pips?

The politics is immense and if you are not inside the clique, they will not like you.

How are they one of the top places to work for?

Someone please explain.

They ask staff to rate the company positively on Glassdoor. Especially to keep the negative reviews buried.

I got selected two years ago to do a survey for the top place to work. I had just filled an AR complaint against my manager for stealing my work, I bombed the survey and put my situation on there; the ranking dropped that year. The beginning of the next year, I was placed on a PIP for communication and let go mid year. That is how they stay up in the rankings.

They lie or make employees lie on third party review sites like glassdoor. Companies have to pay on these sites to be in the running as best places to work. But all reviews sites including glassdoor, indeed, team blind, and yours truly thelayoff.com exposes their lies and corruption.
