I actually worked for BB&T until a few months before the merger was announced when I voluntarily left for a better opportunity. At least in my region, I could see things beginning to take a different approach to client relations and treatment compared to when I started. I was just some lowly RB but truly enjoyed helping my clients. I started to gradually see new attitudes take over from some leadership in my cluster and region.
That being said I grieve what was a great bank who took care of the customers and employees. It was always about money of course but we at least did a decent job of taking care of each other. I never regretted leaving and certainly don't now.
I am still here, but feel the same. Posted originally here -> @2wmk+1q8Vpb5B
