team I am a part of consists of a Manager and previously an Associate Manager. According to what we have been informed, the Associate Manager has supposedly lost their title. Interestingly, a few individuals within our team now hold higher titles than the former Associate Manager, which is quite amusing. Despite this, our Manager is trying to convince us that nothing has changed and is attempting to maintain the same level of authority. However, we no longer have a direct reporting line to the "ex" Associate Manager, resulting in a rather chaotic situation. Our Manager appears to be losing control and is exhibiting signs of extreme frustration. Nevertheless, she assures us that everything is still under control.
Quite the ironical, yet funny situation, that Wells has imposed on their workers.

Please provide us with your critique of the text. I would greatly appreciate it if you could help me improve the structure and vocabulary.
I am also curious about the concept of maintaining dignity in my online presence. Could you please explain what that entails?
So your old manager had a title change and is now an individual contributor. Sounds like your new manager is telling you the old manager is still a team lead and you should take direction from them. Delicate dance between your old manager and their boss. Trying to keep the old manager feeling included, but with no managerial responsibilities and the same amount of pay.
How hard is it to just follow what your manager says?
I swear, some of you never advanced beyond preschool.
Way to demonstrate a lack of class, OP. Clearly WF is a cluster and you’re amused at the “funny” situation of those who are impacted on your team.
Remember, WF will likely sc--w you over, too. Whether it be sending your job to India, moving you from your current role that you applied for/wanted to a cr-p role, India having oversight of your work or finding a way to rate your performance as NI.
We don’t have to be all kumbaya together but a little human empathy goes a long way.
title changes--also another way to make some positions no longer bonus eligible and pay less in the long run.
Yep, another example that current leadership has no idea what they are doing. They foisted new titles on us a couple years ago, then realized it was a cluster, and are now trying to fix the cluster they created. Pretty much like every other move these id--ts make.
What are the other titles held on your team? I guess it’s just another step on the efficiency journey.

Why does it make it chaotic?
The Emperor has no clothes.😂
