Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

JVB Rally Call

She said 86% of what was sold this year was to our existing customers. Not much acquisition in the company.

We need to get rid of these AT&T Solution Providers. All they do is sell to our existing customer base and upgrade customers. Many of the Platinum reps are paid off by the Solution Providers for referrals. JVB was giving the partners very aggressive spiffs to sell to the white space mid market accounts. Obviously, they were not selling much.

Perhaps if we had a modernized database of new businesses to engage annually, rather than the dinosaur of SAART that just feeds a potpourri of misaligned accounts into teams. We give our sellers bad MQOs with incorrect (or no) contacts, they won’t invest in a good contact database, but sell more to new customers. If we had correct businesses aligned, with updated contact info, to the correct sales teams we could be prospecting nothing but white space all day with success!

“Deployment su-ks”

Yes, it’s dog po-p! Sales are being held accountable for internet installs which if you know, that will turn into no commission. AT&T has not changed a thing and too many old folks at the top are hesitant for change and agility. That 86% is not counting fraudulent sales. Most people flip accounts, account names, add lines as cramming etc … the real numbers are concerning - AT&T can’t compete and must change direction soon (get rid of JVB)

AT&T's deployments su-k and their prices are high. What's not to love to make you buy? Maybe she can go sell them some cell phones since that appears to be her "telecommunications" experience. Also what does that number even mean? Do we have other companies acquisition numbers to compare? Just more blind leading the blind and non sense.
