IAM has been a sh*t show for years no matter what "leader" they bring in. Their data quality is horrendous.

There was talk of role based access that would eliminate most of the time wasting requests, but I haven't heard any updates in a couple years.

"you should all be laid off. how hard it is to provision access? the tool(s) we use are garbage and laggy as F."

There you go, you nailed it on the head on why we in IAM are still around. There are some applications that just need to be put to the pasture, yet are still hanging on for dear life. Since we're talking honesty, even us in IAM don't like the request forms.

Nothing. Nothing is going on at IAM. Business as usual.

Get back to work.

you should all be laid off. how hard it is to provision access? the tool(s) we use are garbage and laggy as F. It shouldn't take me 10min to submit a simple access request, and god forbid I have a complex request.
