Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

You need a strong psychological fortitude to work here

With all the games being played on the employees; write ups, Year end write ups being erroneous, bonuses, inexperienced managers on power trips.

Yes, Wells Fargo is a prison.

For recommended therapy, watch these movies: "Papillon", "Escape from Alcatraz", "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest".

We are all prisoners here. You won't accomplish anything by staying, we will eventually go crazy. Remember the guy who jumped from the building? It's not worth it. Let's leave and find a better life elsewhere.

The company wants to encourage natural attrition. One way to do that is to break your spirit by giving you a lower than expected performance review. It’s all part of the game.

It's like a virus spreading. Meets has been the rule of thumb for years, does anyone ever get an Exceeds? The bar is not set, it's moved to suit the management.

Yep the managers are being asked to choose a certain number of folks for “inconsistently meets” even when no one on the team is not performing. A former boss of mine raised this as an issue with ethicsline. Let’s see what happens…
