Wells Fargo plans closure of 12 more branches nationwide

Wells Fargo & Co. has disclosed the planned closing of 12 more branches, none in North Carolina, according to its latest report to the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.

I agree, we don't need branches anymore, but we do need competent customer service on the phone. Sometimes I don't understand what they are saying because of the broken English spoken by the offshore employees.

I have Wells Fargo Checking, Savings, ATM Card, and Visa Card...Never been inside a branch. Branches are obsolete and fewer needed.

In the world of today, everyone can carry around a bank branch in their pocket/pocketbook. Just go to the app store, select the bank(s) of choice and voila, instant banking.
Branches are obsolete and a drag on each bank bottom line.
Just a matter of time.
