The bonus will be redistributed as merit increases to Wells Fargo’s loyal employees.

Happy Holidays!

I don’t know about all that but I did hear that directors with less than ten employees will be on the chopping block.

Most mid-level managers are more like glorified administrators. Why should they receive any bonus? Bonus should only be reserved for executives who drive strategy and have authority over impactful decisions AND individual contributors who are responsible for execution. Middle managers have limited to no decision making authority on resources and compensation. Most of them are lazy, corrupt, and incompetent paper pushers who are constantly trying to justify their fat compensation through deception.

You know OP is full of it when they think that "manager" and "bonus eligible" are equivalent.

the trick is not to spend or even expect a bonus until it shows up in your bank account. I would much rather take a larger merit increase than a bonus because salary is guaranteed, bonus is not.

Manager said last year bonuses would be less this year. Goes to show she was full of it. Just using psychological tactics to get people to leave. CCAR.

I love getting a bonus. It's the only time of year that I feel comfortable gambling/losing 5 figures in Nevada casinos. But that's spread out over like 3 days, not one night.

Why should there be any bonus period? The bonus money should be given to all the axed employees who can’t find work

How do you know? I heard today that bonuses are looking flat this time around, i.e. same as last year. Of course, things can change.

These tenured managers aren’t going to voluntarily leave their cushy jobs. Might as well redistribute that money to people who are doing the actual day to day work, their EMPLOYEES!

Will be redistributed to Shart and OC who have raided this company

Makes sense, reduce bonuses across the board and give large salary increases to everyone. I'd rather have a larger salary instead of a large bonus so long as bonus reduction = salary increase. Keep your stocks too and show me the money.

Maybe you need to explain more but isn't this the way it should be?
