Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Pretty Sure There Has Been a Cyber Incident

You guys know those fishing texts you all have been getting about your Truist Benefits changing? I'm getting those on my virtual cell number that I set up as soon as I started Truist, that's only ever been given to Truist teammates, I've never used it for anything else. The only way for them to have found out is if our information was already exposed.

But hey, let's keep offshoring our security teams!

So you're getting phishing texts on your phone and you believe it's from a compromised offshore security team?

It could of been compromised more upstream like at the phone service provider, phone hardware supplier, or even your local disgruntled employee/friends....but hey, let's just jump to conclusions!

There are cyber incidents there every day, like at any bank. I used to work there. Banks get hit non-stop.

SunTrust and didn't have these issues don't belong together. The merger is a disaster because of merger of equals and SunTrust leadership taking over. Race to the bottom for those mf'ers.
