Outsmart RTO

Why don’t we all rto and deplete the resources (coffee, vending machines, supplies, silverware, etc) so that they will mandate a two day in office policy instead. How much does it even cost to fund electricity in this building for a single day anyway? Seems wasteful to the environment. The entire building should be closed at least on Fridays

I remember having a manager during the Wachovia days that mandated that we reuse paper after we printed. It cause the printers to breakdown faster and cost more money to service and replace printers.

The executives don't give an S about saving money and they routinely demonstrate that. Also, FRTO.

Somewhere in my files from A.G. Edwards (purchased by Wachovia) I still have a printed copy of an email from John Parker’s (technology executive) assistant declaring we were using too many pens in the Saint Louis office. A work friend ran the numbers and concluded a savings of only a few dollars per person per year. We referred to
the email as the “Chairman Parker Pen Rationing Program.”

I once worked in a department that quit providing coffee creamer and sugar because it cost the company too much. So, the obvious company reaction to your suggestion would be to not provide those "perks". A decrease in RTO days would not be the logical conclusion.

Hmm, let's see here...
Exceeding budgeted incidental office supplies will offset the RTO mandate and projected cost savings on cap expenses across the office real estate footprint? So reducing RTO by one day will empower the employees to outsmart RTO. Even though employees still need to RTO. Got it.

As for the rest of your post OP, poor arguments.

Boy nobody wants those pesticide ridden mud grinds they call ‘coffee’ for free. They can keep that sh-t, actually, I hope all the execs are drinking it…

Yes and each use an entire roll of TP every time you go to the bathroom. That will teach them.

You overestimate how much they care about us having coffee, etc. They would tell you to go to SBX if such an issue. The vending machine people are not WF so your logic is stoopit. Again, since you didn’t get the memo, CFO calls entire company inefficient, outsourcing to avoid paying you your high salary and ins. and DONT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR COFFEE.
